Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Manage student behavior with firm yet compassionate guidance
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Document mileage, incidents, and maintenance issues
- Adapt routes for field trips and special events
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger/School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 3 years driving experience with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of Clark County school zones and traffic patterns
