Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided school buses on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle checks
- Ensure student safety during boarding, transit, and disembarking
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist students with mobility needs and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Child CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- Pass thorough background check and fingerprinting
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
