Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip bus inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce student safety protocols and manage behavior
- Maintain clean, orderly bus interiors
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and district policies
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B CDL with passenger/school bus endorsement
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clear driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Experience working with children preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Availability for 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM shifts
