Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and athletic events
- Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain daily logs
- Enforce bus safety protocols and student conduct policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt to route changes and weather conditions while maintaining schedules
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming bus environment
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with Passenger (S) and School Bus (P) endorsements
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
