Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
- Follow strict safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school staff
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Complete accurate daily route documentation and incident reports
- Participate in mandatory safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear criminal background check and driving record
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and punctuality
