As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities. We are looking for individuals who are patient, responsible, and dedicated to safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is safe and roadworthy.
- Safely transport students to and from school and school activities according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus, assisting students in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with school administrators, parents, and dispatch regarding route changes or student incidents.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major traffic violations in the last 5 years).
- Pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Excellent customer service skills and patience when working with children.
- Ability to work early morning and/or afternoon shifts.
