Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses following established routes and schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a positive, orderly environment for all students
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and students
- Complete daily trip reports and incident documentation
- Assist students with boarding/exiting and mobility needs
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to obtain CDL with school bus endorsement (training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Experience working with children preferred
