Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
- Enforce bus safety protocols for all passengers
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adapt routes for weather/emergency situations
- Complete daily maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with S/P endorsement
- Clean driving record (3+ years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Child safety certification (provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb stairs
- Strong communication skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
