Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on designated routes and field trips
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Enforce student conduct policies and maintain bus discipline
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle interior
- Report maintenance issues and student incidents promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License (CDL training provided)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and operate wheelchair lifts
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Availability for early morning/afternoon shifts
- Background clearance through fingerprinting
