Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities following designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors
- Enforce student behavior policies while maintaining a positive, supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding route updates
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district safety protocols
- Complete incident reports and maintenance documentation as required
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class B with P/S endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clear driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Background clearance fingerprinting
