Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips according to approved routes and schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of buses to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Maintain orderly conduct among passengers and enforce safety protocols
- Complete accurate trip logs and incident documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
