Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Supervise student loading/unloading and enforce bus rules
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents, schools, and dispatch
- Respond to emergencies per training protocols
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and minor maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License (minimum 1 year experience)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with P endorsement (training provided)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Physical ability to assist students with mobility needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible availability (early mornings & afternoons)
