Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Supervise student boarding and exiting procedures
- Enforce bus safety protocols and discipline policies
- Maintain accurate trip logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license (Class D or higher)
- Clean driving record (3+ years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Arizona School Bus Certificate
- Strong communication skills with students/families
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor inspections
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for emergency situations
- Patience and calm demeanor under pressure
