Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on established routes adhering to strict schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Enforce student safety protocols and bus discipline policies
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Keep vehicle interior clean and well-maintained
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsements
- Minimum 2 years safe driving record
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Child First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Fluent English/Spanish preferred
- Background clearance clearance required
