Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight within Memphis metropolitan area
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist in warehouse operations during non-driving hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Memphis metro area roadways
