Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently for local/regional freight deliveries
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance with DOT regulations
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments and customer communications
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Uphold Elite Freight's safety standards and service excellence protocols
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report major repairs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Reliable late-model box truck (26ft+) with current insurance
- Strong knowledge of El Paso metro area and regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- DOT medical certification and required permits
