Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on designated routes before/after school and field trips
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Maintain student discipline and ensure a positive bus environment
- Follow precise schedules and GPS routing protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all Ohio traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Emergency response training and first aid certification provided
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with P endorsement
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability (early mornings/afternoons)
- Previous child interaction experience preferred
