Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict schedules
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Supervise student conduct and enforce safety protocols
- Maintain accurate route logs and incident reports
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
- Assist students with boarding/alighting including mobility needs
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License (Class B with P/S endorsement)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent safety record and defensive driving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
