Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and defensive driving techniques
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports accurately
- Assist students with boarding/exiting and special needs accommodations
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or willingness to complete company training
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work early morning/afternoon hours
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
