Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial locations
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize delivery efficiency
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Use company-provided technology to track deliveries and update delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while operating delivery vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to use company-provided vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery technology
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekdays during daytime hours (8 AM - 6 PM)
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
