Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from schools and field trips according to assigned routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections of buses and report maintenance needs
- Enforce safety protocols and student conduct standards during transit
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
- Participate in seasonal route training and safety drills
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with Passenger/School Bus Endorsement
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Patience and ability to work with diverse age groups
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
