Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement
- Maintain accurate attendance records
- Communicate effectively with parents & staff
- Follow all traffic laws & district policies
- Respond to emergencies per training protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C)
- CDL Class B with P/S endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record (no major violations)
- Pass background check & drug screening
- Ability to lift 25 lbs & assist students
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience with children ages 5-18
- High school diploma or equivalent
