Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure student safety during boarding/alighting
- Maintain orderly conduct on the bus
- Communicate effectively with parents/staff
- Follow all traffic laws and district policies
- Report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma CDL with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass background check/drug screening
- Good driving record (no major violations)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Patience with children ages 5-18
