Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to local and regional destinations safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual labor as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to HOS regulations.
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and vehicle handling.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for making change and handling fuel cards.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid legal work authorization required.
