Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (vans/box trucks) for multi-stop delivery routes across DC, Maryland, and Virginia
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS technology while adhering to strict delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team in real-time
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Proficiency with route navigation apps (Google Maps, Route4Me)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspections
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning starts (4:00 AM - 6:00 AM)
