Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport products to residential and commercial destinations in Virginia Beach.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are handled with care and placed in designated areas.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Accurately complete digital logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork daily.
- Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery time and fuel economy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery role.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong knowledge of the Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads road network.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
