Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes across Detroit Metro area
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Detroit Metro roadways and navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
