Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver perishable goods to retail partners across Boston neighborhoods
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and inventory logs for all route stops
- Provide exceptional customer service during unloading and point-of-sale interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and temperature control requirements
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for urgent or priority deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Boston streets and metro area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Must be available for early morning shifts (4:00 AM start time)
