Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of freight to designated stops along the route.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and vendors at every stop.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and safety equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B (or Class A) driver's license.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Current DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills for documentation.
