Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on predetermined routes across San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and customer signatures using digital tracking systems
- Load/unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper handling and security of all items
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including resolving inquiries and complaints
- Adapt routes in real-time to optimize efficiency and meet tight delivery windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to report delays, traffic issues, or route challenges
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate manual pallet jacks
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and digital delivery tracking platforms
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with San Jose geography and Bay Area road networks
