Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on scheduled routes across Seattle metropolitan area
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and adapt to real-time changes
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience with Class B license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks/dollies
- Familiarity with Seattle traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong time management skills and route optimization abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
