Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic updates
- Load/unload products with care, ensuring temperature-sensitive items remain optimal
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions or delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
- Minimum 1 year experience in delivery or route driving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Pass background check and drug screening
