Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations on optimized routes
- Plan and execute efficient daily delivery schedules using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Proficiency with delivery tracking technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
