Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Raleigh metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery time windows
- Handle loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate hydraulic equipment
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning tools
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
