As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to our customers across the Portland metropolitan area. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a company that puts drivers first.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Deliver freight to designated customers on assigned routes while adhering to time schedules.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures for all shipments.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in route delivery or logistics.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
