Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate designated routes using GPS systems
- Load/unload packages with precision and maintain accurate inventory logs
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries and route interactions
- Adhere to safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timely service
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic computer literacy for route tracking systems
