Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods according to assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Handle and sort packages with care to prevent damage
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/delivery points
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
