Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on established routes across Nashville metropolitan area
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care, ensuring inventory accuracy
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Nashville area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation systems
