Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations across Nashville metro
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and operate pallet jacks/dollies
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding counties
- Proven experience in logistics, delivery, or route-based driving
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Basic computer skills for digital documentation
