Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to 25-30 daily stops across Milwaukee County
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement (Wisconsin required)
- 2+ years commercial driving experience with clean MVR
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee County roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic math proficiency for inventory reconciliation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Refrigerated transport experience preferred
