Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and client locations
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Load/unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and inventory documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with clean MVR
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach area and Southern California geography
- Proficiency with mobile delivery apps and route management software
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass background check and drug screening
