Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of goods to designated customer locations within the Denver metro area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring accurate delivery and handling inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Load and unload trailers or cargo using appropriate equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, etc.) while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle and ensure the cargo area remains organized.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
