Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints calmly.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized inside and out.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the Los Angeles area.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles streets, local geography, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
