Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient loading and unloading of merchandise at customer locations.
- Deliver products to clients in a timely and professional manner while adhering to time windows.
- Inspect the vehicle daily, complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Observe all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, manage returns, and resolve delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent local driving permit.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends as required.
