Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods along designated Jacksonville routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules
- Handle loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in delivery/logistics
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metropolitan area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks/dollies
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation and documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
