Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Jacksonville metro routes efficiently
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive customer communication
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 3+ years)
- 1+ year commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
