Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated routes while adhering to traffic laws
- Load/unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques and care
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery efficiency
- Ensure all deliveries meet quality and timing standards
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Indianapolis area
- Pass background check and drug screening
