Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along assigned routes in Indianapolis metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Resolve delivery exceptions and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Basic computer literacy for digital manifests and reporting
