Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to customers on established routes.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (DVIR, bills of lading).
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
