Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local and interstate traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Current DOT medical card is required.
